Avery Berschauer is a Seattle-based Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Accessibility (DEIA) consultant. She pulls from formal education and lived experience to help businesses and organizations create cultures that foster belonging and celebrate everyone's differences.

As a child, Avery was diagnosed with a retinal disease that worsens over time. Determined to help others avoid the barriers and adversity she has faced, Avery founded A•B Inclusion. She also shares her experience living with a visual impairment on her podcast Basically Blind.

As an active member of her community, Avery serve on the Steering Committees for the Seattle Cultural Accessibility Consortium and the King County Disability Consortium. She also oversees training, advocacy, and DEIA for the Junior League of Seattle as the Training Manager.

Avery is a proud alumna of Washington State University where she earned a B.A. in communications and a B.S. in psychology. She also has a certificate in diversity and inclusion for Cornell University.
